Born from a walk in nature
Gail wrote “Delight in the Day” after spending time walking outdoors and noticing the birds, trees and changing landscape around her.
The song is a reminder that even during difficult or uncertain seasons, beauty is still present. Sometimes we only need to slow down long enough to notice it.

I watch the birds fly across the sky
Do they have care or wonder why
Is there a plan for what they are to be?
Are the simply flying to be free…
